Welcome all Newcomers!

I would like to take a moment and thank you for joining HopeUntoDawn. You might be asking yourself, "What is HopeUntoDawn?", well we are a Charity Gaming Organization. Since we are a charity organization we have to have strict rules so please read the rules and use common sense while posting. Why don't you head on over to the Introduction forum and post to get yourself acquainted with everyone here on HUD. Enjoy your stay!

General Conduct

Search before posting! This rule is pretty much self-explanatory. We encourage you to search the forums before posting.

This rule also sort of goes along with the next rule. Also, do a little searching, make sure that what your planning on posting

hasn't already been posted.

Post in the correct section! We can't stress this enough you guys, you must read the forum description before

posting or making a thread. If there is no forum topic that doesn't match the topic you wish to discuss, post it in the General

Discussion forum.

Before posting please ask yourself the following question: "Am I making a post that is informative, or

interesting on any level?" If you've answered "yes" to the question than you should go right ahead and post, if you've

answered "no" than you should refrain from posting, if you go ahead and post anyway, you will probably get an infraction based on

the Mod's opinion.

Before replying, please ask yourself this question: "Does my reply offer any advice or help to contribute to the

conversation in any fashion?" If you can answer "yes" to that question, than please proceed and reply. If you cannot, than

please refrain from replying.

Posting Rules

Low Quality Posts: Please refrain from making posts that contain no content at all, ie, "first", "hello", "im new" etc.

These sort of posts just fill up the forum, and we try to eliminate them as much as possible but that sometimes doesn't work. Tip

to evoid breaking this rule, write like you would as if you were talking to somebody in real life. Don't use slang words either,

they just make you look immature, act your age.

Stay on Topic: Please try and stay on topic whilst posting or replying to someone's thread. If you find a thread and see

that people aren't on topic, post in there telling them to get on topic.

Flame: We don't support any sort of flame here at HUD. As we said earlier, we are a charitable gaming community, so be nice :).

Staff and Poster Respect: The mods here at HUD are here to keep the forums safe, secure, and enjoyable for everybody. If

they ask you to do something, please do it. Please do not harass or intentionally annoy the mods here at HUD, they don't deserve

to get treated that way. If you don't like one of the mods or how they do their moderation, that's okay, just don't go around

posting or making a thread about or even PMing them about how to do their job.

Freedoms: You cannot post illegal material, haress others by posting their personal information or sexually exsplicit

photos/videos, spam subject lines to break the forum's tables, or harass any admins or mods.

Racism: Racist remarks are not allowed to be posted anywhere on HUD, this includes the ChatBox.

Chatbox Guidelines

BB-Code: You can only use readable colors in the chatbox. However, HTML or anyother kind of scripts is not allowed.

Letters: You aren't allowed to use weird letters or characters in the chatbox. Doing so, will get you muted.

Escaping the language filter: It's there for a reason, don't try to go around it by using differnt combonations of

letters.

Account Inactivity / Account Details

Accounts inactive for longer than seven(7) days will become inactive. All you have to do to reactivate your account is simply login.

your other account will more than likely be banned and possible your main account aswell.

others to pay to view your images.

No warez. No warez, no cracks, no CD keys, no illegal programs that are used to either crack software or perform any

malicious activity. Don't post links, ask for links to download or otherwise discuss illegal copies of copyrighted works,

They are usually no recourse for being banned from HUD. However, if you think that you've been banned for an unlawful reason you

can always appeal the ban. Refer to the Appeal the ban section on the forum or contact one of the admins about this issue.
